Reports of Benjamin Netanyahu assassination are fake

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed rumours of his assassination by flashing his five fingers on the social media.

Earlier media in Iran claimed that Netanyahu has been ‘assasinated’. Officials of Netanyahu ‘s office issued a statement stating he is fine and doing well.

How the rumour spread ?

The rumour became stronger after a presser regarding the ongoing conflict between US, Iran and Israel where the AI generated an image showing Netanyahu with six fingers on his right hand. However, when the matter was fact checked it was found that Israeli Premier actually have five fingers on his right hand and the extra flesh near the little finger appears to make it six.
