An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the richter scale has hit Myanmar on Sunday at 4:33 PM (IST).
Another earthquake measuring 4.4 has hit the same place yesterday. The nature’s fury can take place anywhere between the earth’s surface to 700 km below the earth’s surface. According to the experts this can be classified into three zones shallow, intermediate and deep.
Earthquake zones
Shallow earthquakes can take place anywhere between 0-70 km below the earth’s surface, intermediate earthquake from 70-300 km below the earth’s surface while deep earthquake ‘s destination is from 300-700 km below the earth’s surface.

Myanmar is vulnerable to moderate to large magnitude earthquakes and Tsunamis along it’s broad coast line.
