Congress lose another wicket in Assam

Senior Congress leader from Assam Pradyut Bordoloi resigned from the primary membership of Congress and joined the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).

Taking this cue senior BJP leader Kesavan attacked the grand old party – the Congress – and it’s leader Rahul Gandhi.

“Congress has no vision. They have no principle. All they are upto is to see Nehru – Gandhi family are in good condition,” said Kesavan.

“On the other hand BJP are moving ahead with a vision led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” added Kesavan.

Reason for quitting Congress

Bordoloi, after a long stint with the Congress, handed over his resignation letter to the party president Mallikarjun Kharge. “The decision wasn’t easy for me. I am moving ahead from a very large chapter of my life. With a deep heart i would like to state that I wasn’t getting even the basic respect that I deserve after serving the party for a long time,” said Bordoloi.
