Arvinder Khosa has been appointed as the new president of Cricket Canada. Cricket Canada is the governing body of the gentleman’s game (which is cricket) in Canada.
Cricket in Canada is going through a transition phase as the main focus is on strengthening and support the cricket game.
Khosa is a vastly experienced cricket administrator having been involved in this game for a very long time. He hails from Surrey in British Columbia and commands high respect.
A Special General Meeting has been called by Cricket Canada to appoint Khosa as the new president. He is supposed to take charge with immediate effect.
Under his leadership Cricket Canada will focus on strengthening governance, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and continue to build strong foundations for the organization.
Khosa will be bringing all his experience across the Canadian cricket and Cricket BC where he has supported the development and promotion of the sport at both the grassroots and organizational levels.
“This is an important moment for cricket in Canada,” said Khosa. “We are working for the complete overhaul of the game in the country,” he added.
Paramjit Shahi has been appointed as the secretary of Cricket Canada. He hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Shahi also involved in cricket development and supporting cricket infrastructure.
Cricket in Canada is undergoing a complete change. Right from it’s administration to the ground level. Every efforts are made to promote the game.
