AIADMK releases manifesto for Tamil Nadu elections

All India Anna Dravid Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) has released it’s election manifesto with 297 promises.

Out of those 297 promises, ₹2000 per month has been allotted to every female head of the family. ₹10000 per family have been provided to overcome tax burden and rising prices of essential commodities.

“During Stalin’s rule the prices of the essential commodities have risen manifold. Not only that, property tax, house taxes, electricity charges, water tax have also gone up. These made the lives of commoners into hell,” said AIADMK general secretary Edappadi Palanisami while releasing the party manifesto.

Kula Vilakku Scheme has been introduced for the women. By this scheme every women ration card holders will be provided a further ₹2000 which will be directly deposited to their bank accounts. These women will receive lentils, rice and a refrigerator each.

in addition to that the men won’t have to purchase tickets while travelling in government buses. Three free cooking gas cylinders will be provided to the women ration card holder.

Tamil Nadu is scheduled to go into polls on April 23. It will be a single phased election. The result will be out on May 4.

AIADMK will contest in 170 seats out of 234 seats. Their alliance party, BJP will be contesting in 27 seats, Pattali Makkal Kachi (PMK) to contest in 18 seats and AMMK with 11 seats.

The main clash will be between AIADMK led NDA and DMK led Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA).
