Senior BJP leader and union Home minister Amit Shah held a massive roadshow to accompany the Leader of the opposition in West Bengal legislative assembly Suvendu Adhikari file his nomination for Bhawanipur assembly constituency.
Huge number of workers and supporters of the saffron outfit were present in that roadshow.

Massive corruptions, unemployment, deteorating law and order, women’s safety are some of the key issues for the upcoming elections in the state.
The development of a state is only possible if there is a good relation between the central government and the state government or if the same political outfit is in power both in the centre as well as in a state. Unfortunately these are completely absent in the state of West Bengal.
“People of West Bengal have made up their mind and they want a change here,” said Shah.
The border between Bangladesh and West Bengal must be sealed. And the entry of the infiltrators must be stopped once and for all.
Bhartiya Janata Party want to convert West Bengal into “Sonar Bangla”. Amit Shah recollected the works of Ravindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay and said only creation of Sonar Bangla will be a fitting tribute to them.
Shah appealed to the people of West Bengal to cast their votes in favour of Bhartiya Janata Party candidates and expressed hope that people will vote “wisely”.
Apart from Bhawanipur, Adhikari is also contesting from his traditional seat of Nandigram. Last time it was in Nandigram that Adhikari triumphed over his rival Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and now the focal point have shifted to Bhawanipur.
After losing in Nandigram Mamata fought and won in a by-election in Bhawanipur defeating Priyanka Tibrewal.
West Bengal will be going to the two phased election in April 23 and 29 with the results scheduled for May 4.
In the last Assembly elections TMC romped home with 213 seats while BJP had to be satisfied with only 77 seats.
